Words Clare / Music Clifton Walking round familiar places Same old people pass me by I can not see their faces I can only wonder why Don't blame me Or the man in the bar The one that drives a big black car Pay the price Now your walking on ice I love you just the way you are Went and got myself a paper Same old news comes to mind Another bomb, another raper Another heart just left behind Don't blame me Or the man in the bar The one that drives a big black car You pay the price Now your breaking the ice I love you just the way you are Don't blame me Or the man in the bar The one that drives a big black car You named a price Now your breaking the ice I love you just the way you are

Words Bardwell / Music Clifton Wondering these streets of this town I tried to talk, he walked away One of the many lost souls Man on the bridge Whats he talking about Man on the bridge I tried to talk, he walked away Staring horizon, the old canal path I tried to talk he walked away Where did he used to live That man on the bridge Sandals in the rain To Murray John heights The man on the bridge Looking over the land To a hive of activity My old playground Walking constantly, pacing Now he can hardly speak I tried to talk he walked away Where did he come from That man on the bridge I tried to talk he walked away Where does he live That man on the bridge Looking over the land Looking over the land Looking over the land

Words & Music Clifton If you were to pick up the phone Would you call my number? If you were to go out tonight Would you pass my house? When you fall asleep in a dream Would I be there with you? Would you take hold of my hand If I start to fall Hey you there Hold on stop falling I said hey, hey you there Hold on stop falling Wishing I was a million miles away A million miles, a million miles away Wishing I was a million miles away A million miles, a million miles away I remember those nights at the fairground Double Barrel playin' on the sound system This big wheel keeps turning round Switch back screams the smell of candyfloss Somebody calls out your name You look around but its from above Now the O'Jays are singing Love Train You know your life will never be the same I said hey you there Hold on stop falling I said hey you there Hold on stop falling Wishing I was a million miles away A million miles, a million miles away Wishing I was a million miles away A million miles, a million miles away A million miles, a million miles A million miles, a million miles Million miles, million miles Million miles, million miles Million miles, million miles Million miles, million miles Million miles, million miles

Words & Music Clifton Sitting here alone tonight Just looking at the clock on the wall Those minutes seem to fly so fast I wonder if I was here at all Please don't give me up No no no Lets just live it up Yeah yeah yeah Please don't give me up No no no Lets just treasure this time we have together Never say never Stumble across the front room floor To the window on the other side I'm looking down the garden path That's my heart hanging on the line Please don't give me up No no no Lets just live it up Yeah yeah yeah Please don't give me up No no no Lets treasure this time we got together Never say never Never Say Never!
